A Garden Party via Pinterest

I absolutely love planning parties. I love coming up with a theme, picking out the menu, decorating, preparing the food, and hosting the actual shindig. Unfortunately, the kind of parties and the amount of parties I would like to host require an unlimited budget and unlimited time which I definitely don't have. Still, I can't resist planning my next hypothetical party in my head and love finding inspiration on Pinterest.

The current dream party that I would love to throw is a garden party. Cute garden parties have been on my mind since we moved into our house with it's large back yard several months ago.

My garden party would have a set up similar to this. I absolutely love the green! And I would definitely want to, while not the most practical for a hostess, wear a gorgeous white dress similar to hers.

I can't forget the food! I would probably serve heavy hor d'oeuvres so that guests would not be stuck sitting down to eat for long periods of time.

This easy and delicious Summer dessert would be perfect! Prosecco and fruit bars are two of my favorite Summer treats, so put them together and I'm in heaven.
I don't think I can wait until my hypothetical party for one of these, I may have to make one for myself tonight!

Finally, as day turns to night I want to have the perfect lighting and it doesn't get better than these homemade lanterns!

Thanks for indulging me while I share my fantasy garden party, I only hope one day I can make it happen! The tough part is finding a time of year when the heat is not so oppressive and the mosquitoes aren't so prevalent!
